HTMLIFrameElement.setVolume()

This feature is not on a current W3C standards track, but it is supported on the Firefox OS platform. Although implementations may change in the future and it is not supported widely across browsers, it is suitable for use in code dedicated to Firefox OS apps.

This API is available on Firefox OS for privileged or certified applications only.

The setVolume() method of the HTMLIFrameElement sets the current volume of the browser <iframe>.

Syntax

instanceOfHTMLIframeElement.setVolume(number);

Returns

Void.

Parameters

number
A floating point number representing the volume you want to set — this can have a value between 0 and 1.

Example

var browser = document.querySelector('iframe');

browser.setVolume(0.5);
