Clients.get()

This is an experimental technology
Because this technology's specification has not stabilized, check the compatibility table for usage in various browsers. Also note that the syntax and behavior of an experimental technology is subject to change in future versions of browsers as the specification changes.

The get() method of the Clients interface gets a service worker client matching a given id and returns it in a Promise.

Syntax

self.clients.get(id).then(function(client) {
  // do something with your returned client
});

Parameters

id
A DOMString representing the id of the client you want to get.

Returns

Promise that resolves to a Client object.

Examples

self.clients.get(options).then(function(client) {
  self.clients.openWindow(client.url);
});
