The TreeView.OnInit(EventArgs) method is called by the System.Web.UI.WebControls.TreeView control to raise the System.Web.UI.Control.Init event. It is generally used by control developers when extending the System.Web.UI.WebControls.TreeView class.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.

The TreeView.OnInit(EventArgs) method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
