System.Security.Cryptography.CryptoStream.FlushFinalBlock Method

Updates the underlying data source or repository with the current state of the buffer, then clears the buffer.

Syntax

public void FlushFinalBlock ()

Remarks

Calling the System.IO.Stream.Close method will call CryptoStream.FlushFinalBlock. If you do not call System.IO.Stream.Close, call CryptoStream.FlushFinalBlock to complete flushing the buffer. Call CryptoStream.FlushFinalBlock only when all stream activity is complete.
