Returns the most positive (closest to positive infinity) of the two arguments.

Returns the most positive (closest to positive infinity) of the two arguments.

Special cases:

  • max(NaN, (anything)) = NaN
  • max((anything), NaN) = NaN
  • max(+0.0, -0.0) = +0.0
  • max(-0.0, +0.0) = +0.0
