System.Web.UI.WebControls.SqlDataSourceView.OnFiltering Method

Raises the SqlDataSourceView.Filtering event before the System.Web.UI.WebControls.SqlDataSource control filters the results of a select operation.

Parameters

A System.Web.UI.WebControls.SqlDataSourceFilteringEventArgs that contains the event data.

Remarks

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Consuming Events.

The SqlDataSourceView.OnFiltering(SqlDataSourceFilteringEventArgs) method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
