Remarks

Use the HtmlTextArea.Value property to programmatically control the text entered in the System.Web.UI.HtmlControls.HtmlTextArea control. This property is commonly used to retrieve the text entered in the text box, but you can also use it to specify the text to display in the control. This is useful if you want to provide a default value or display a message in the System.Web.UI.HtmlControls.HtmlTextArea control.

ASP.NET provides an input request validation feature to block script and HTML in user input. Validation server controls are also provided to assess user input.
