System.Web.UI.Page.OnInitComplete Method

Raises the Page.InitComplete event after page initialization.

Syntax

protected virtual void OnInitComplete (EventArgs e)

Parameters

e
An EventArgs that contains the event data.

Remarks

The Page.OnInitComplete(EventArgs) method is called after page initialization is complete. In this stage of the page's life cycle, all declared controls on the page are initialized, but the page's view state is not yet populated. You can access server controls, but they will not yet contain information returned from the user.

The Page.OnInitComplete(EventArgs) method occurs at the end of the System.Web.UI.Page initialization stage and before the load stage.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.

The Page.OnInitComplete(EventArgs) method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
