MonoTouch.CoreMotion.CMStepCounter Class
On supported devices, stores the number of steps the user has taken with the device and allows step-counting to be dynamically tracked.

Remarks

Not all devices support step counting. Application developers should check CMStepCounter.IsStepCountingAvailable.
