System.Web.UI.WebControls.ObjectDataSourceView.OnObjectCreated Method

Raises the ObjectDataSourceView.ObjectCreated event after the System.Web.UI.WebControls.ObjectDataSourceView creates an instance of the object that is identified by the ObjectDataSourceView.TypeName property.

Syntax

protected virtual void OnObjectCreated (ObjectDataSourceEventArgs e)

Parameters

e
An System.Web.UI.WebControls.ObjectDataSourceEventArgs that contains the event data.

Remarks

The ObjectDataSourceView.OnObjectCreated(ObjectDataSourceEventArgs) method is called, only if the method that is identified to perform the data operation is not static (Shared in Visual Basic).

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see ObjectDataSourceView.ObjectCreating.

The ObjectDataSourceView.OnObjectCreated(ObjectDataSourceEventArgs) method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
