System.Web.UI.WebControls.ObjectDataSourceView.OnDeleting Method

Raises the ObjectDataSourceView.Deleting event before the System.Web.UI.WebControls.ObjectDataSourceView object attempts a delete operation.

Parameters

An System.Web.UI.WebControls.ObjectDataSourceMethodEventArgs that contains the event data.

Remarks

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Consuming Events.

The ObjectDataSourceView.OnDeleting(ObjectDataSourceMethodEventArgs) method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
