System.Xml.Serialization.XmlSerializationWriter.WriteNullableStringLiteralRaw Method

Writes a byte array as the body of an XML element. System.Xml.XmlWriter inserts an xsi:nil='true' attribute if the string's value is null.

Syntax

protected void WriteNullableStringLiteralRaw (string name, string ns, byte[] value)

Parameters

name
The local name of the XML element to write.
ns
The namespace of the XML element to write.
value
The byte array to write in the body of the XML element.

Remarks

The protected members of System.Xml.Serialization.XmlSerializationWriter are intended for use only by derived classes that are used internally within the .NET Framework XML serialization infrastructure.

When set to true, the nil attribute from the XML Schema instance namespace (abbreviated xsi) indicates a null value.

The XmlSerializationWriter.WriteNullableStringLiteralRaw(string, string, Byte[]) method is called only when writing literal XML that can be defined in an XML Schema document.
