System.Web.UI.WebControls.SqlDataSourceView.OnUpdating Method

Raises the SqlDataSourceView.Updating event before the System.Web.UI.WebControls.SqlDataSource control attempts an update operation.

Parameters

e
A System.Web.UI.WebControls.SqlDataSourceCommandEventArgs that contains the event data.

Remarks

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Consuming Events.

The SqlDataSourceView.OnUpdating(SqlDataSourceCommandEventArgs) method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
