The PasswordRecovery.OnVerifyingAnswer(LoginCancelEventArgs) method is called before the user's answer to the password recovery confirmation question is sent to the membership provider to be verified. The default implementation raises the PasswordRecovery.VerifyingAnswer event.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Events and Delegates.

The PasswordRecovery.OnVerifyingAnswer(LoginCancelEventArgs) method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
