System.Windows.Forms.Control.OnQueryContinueDrag Method

Raises the Control.QueryContinueDrag event.

Syntax

[System.ComponentModel.EditorBrowsable(System.ComponentModel.EditorBrowsableState.Advanced)]
protected virtual void OnQueryContinueDrag (QueryContinueDragEventArgs qcdevent)

Parameters

qcdevent
A System.Windows.Forms.QueryContinueDragEventArgs that contains the event data.

Remarks

After dragging has begun, this method is called repeatedly by the dnprdnshort until the drag operation is either canceled or completed.

Note:

Override this method if you want to change the point at which dragging is canceled or at which a drop occurs.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.

The Control.OnQueryContinueDrag(QueryContinueDragEventArgs) method also enables derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
