System.Net.Sockets.TcpClient.Dispose Method

Releases the unmanaged resources used by the System.Net.Sockets.TcpClient and optionally releases the managed resources.

Syntax

protected virtual void Dispose (bool disposing)

Parameters

disposing
Set to true to release both managed and unmanaged resources; false to release only unmanaged resources.

Remarks

This method is called by the public Dispose() method and the object.Finalize method. Dispose() invokes this method with the disposing parameter set to true. object.Finalize invokes this method with disposing set to false.

When the disposing parameter is true, this method releases all resources held by any managed objects that this System.Net.Sockets.TcpClient references. It does this by invoking the Dispose() method of each referenced object.
