System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripItem.OnOwnerFontChanged Method

Raises the Control.FontChanged event when the ToolStripItem.Font property has changed on the parent of the System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripItem.

Syntax

[System.ComponentModel.EditorBrowsable(System.ComponentModel.EditorBrowsableState.Advanced)]
protected virtual void OnOwnerFontChanged (EventArgs e)

Parameters

e
A EventArgs that contains the event data.

Remarks

Use the ToolStripItem.OnOwnerFontChanged(EventArgs) method to notify inheritors of the ToolStripItem.Font property that the font has changed.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.

The ToolStripItem.OnOwnerFontChanged(EventArgs) method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
