System.Windows.Forms.TreeView.OnKeyDown Method

Raises the Control.KeyDown event.

Syntax

protected override void OnKeyDown (KeyEventArgs e)

Parameters

e
A System.Windows.Forms.KeyEventArgs that contains the event data.

Remarks

If the TreeView.CheckBoxes property is set to true and the KeyEventArgs.Handled property is set to false, the TreeView.OnKeyDown(KeyEventArgs) method switches between selecting and clearing the check box when the user presses the SPACEBAR.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.

The TreeView.OnKeyDown(KeyEventArgs) method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
