System.Windows.Forms.TreeView.OnMouseHover Method

Raises the Control.MouseHover event.

Syntax

protected override void OnMouseHover (EventArgs e)

Parameters

e
An EventArgs that contains the event data.

Remarks

The TreeView.OnMouseHover(EventArgs) method performs a hit test to see whether the mouse is located over a System.Windows.Forms.TreeNode, and if it is, raises the TreeView.NodeMouseHover event.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.

The TreeView.OnMouseHover(EventArgs) method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
