System.Web.UI.WebControls.ObjectDataSourceView.OnFiltering Method

Raises the ObjectDataSourceView.Filtering event before the System.Web.UI.WebControls.ObjectDataSourceView object attempts a filtering operation.

Parameters

An System.Web.UI.WebControls.ObjectDataSourceFilteringEventArgs that contains the event data.

Remarks

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Consuming Events.

The ObjectDataSourceView.OnFiltering(ObjectDataSourceFilteringEventArgs) method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
