The PasswordRecovery.OnUserLookupError(EventArgs) method is called when the membership provider is unable to find the user name entered on the initial screen. The default implementation raises the PasswordRecovery.UserLookupError event.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Providing Event Functionality.

The PasswordRecovery.OnUserLookupError(EventArgs) method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
