System.Windows.Forms.UpDownBase.OnTextBoxLostFocus Method

Raises the Control.LostFocus event.

Syntax

protected virtual void OnTextBoxLostFocus (object source, EventArgs e)

Parameters

source
The source of the event.
e
An EventArgs that contains the event data.

Remarks

This method validates the text in the text box portion of the control when the spin box (also known as an up-down control) loses focus.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.

The UpDownBase.OnTextBoxLostFocus(object, EventArgs) method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
