Remarks

The ObjectDataSource.Selecting, ObjectDataSource.Updating, ObjectDataSource.Inserting, or ObjectDataSource.Deleting event of the System.Web.UI.WebControls.ObjectDataSource control allows you to manipulate the parameters that are used to determine the method that is called by the System.Web.UI.WebControls.ObjectDataSource control. For more information, see System.Web.UI.WebControls.ObjectDataSourceMethodEventArgs.

When you create an System.Web.UI.WebControls.ObjectDataSourceMethodEventHandler delegate, you identify the method that will handle the event. To associate the event with your event handler, add an instance of the delegate to the event. The event handler is called whenever the event occurs, unless you remove the delegate. For more information about event handler delegates, see Consuming Events.
