System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripSplitButton.ProcessDialogKey Method

Processes a dialog key.

Syntax

protected override bool ProcessDialogKey (Keys keyData)

Parameters

keyData
One of the System.Windows.Forms.Keys values that represents the key to process.

Returns

true if the key was processed by the item; otherwise, false.

Remarks

This method is called during message preprocessing to handle the ENTER and SPACEBAR keys in order to raise the ToolStripItem.Click event. However, if the System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripSplitButton is not enabled, this method calls the base class implementation instead.

This method is called only if the Control.IsInputKey(Keys) method indicates that the item is not processing the key.
