System.Web.UI.WebControls.WebParts.WebPartVerb.LoadViewState Method

Restores view-state information from a previous page request that was saved by the WebPartVerb.SaveViewState method.

Syntax

protected virtual void LoadViewState (object savedState)

Parameters

savedState
An object that contains the view state to be restored.

Remarks

This method is used primarily by the .NET Framework infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code. However, control developers can override this method to specify how a custom server control restores its view state. For more information, see ASP.NET State Management Overview.

This method determines whether there is any existing savedState from a previous page request, and if so, restores it. Included in the process of restoring view state is the verb's visibility, which is determined by the value of the WebPartVerb.Visible property.
