System.Web.UI.WebControls.DetailsView.OnItemInserted Method

Raises the DetailsView.ItemInserted event.

A System.Web.UI.WebControls.DetailsViewInsertedEventArgs that contains the event data.

Remarks

The DetailsView.OnItemInserted(DetailsViewInsertedEventArgs) method is called by the System.Web.UI.WebControls.DetailsView control to raise the DetailsView.ItemInserted event. It is generally used by control developers when extending the System.Web.UI.WebControls.DetailsView class.

The DetailsView.OnItemInserted(DetailsViewInsertedEventArgs) method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
