System.Web.UI.WebControls.DataList.EditItemIndex Property

Gets or sets the index number of the selected item in the System.Web.UI.WebControls.DataList control to edit.

Remarks

Use the DataList.EditItemIndex property to programmatically specify the item to edit. You can also use this property to determine the index of the item selected for editing.

Note:

The DataList.EditItemIndex property is zero based.

To unselect an item, set the DataList.EditItemIndex property to -1.
