System.Web.UI.WebControls.CheckBoxField.ExtractValuesFromCell Method

Fills the specified IDictionary object with the values from the specified System.Web.UI.WebControls.DataControlFieldCell object.

Parameters

dictionary
A IDictionary used to store the values of the specified cell.
cell
The System.Web.UI.WebControls.DataControlFieldCell that contains the values to retrieve.
rowState
One of the System.Web.UI.WebControls.DataControlRowState values.
includeReadOnly
true to include the values of read-only fields; otherwise, false.

Remarks

The CheckBoxField.ExtractValuesFromCell(System.Collections.Specialized.IOrderedDictionary, DataControlFieldCell, DataControlRowState, bool) method is provided as a convenient way to retrieve the values of the fields from the specified System.Web.UI.WebControls.DataControlFieldCell object in a System.Web.UI.WebControls.CheckBoxField object.

Note:

This method is used primarily by control developers.

This method does not have a return value. Instead, the field values are returned by reference through the IDictionary object passed in for the dictionary parameter. After the method has been called, iterate through the IDictionary object to access the field values.

Note:

If the System.Web.UI.WebControls.DataControlFieldCell object contains read-only field values, you must pass in true for the includeReadOnly parameter to include those values.
