e

Remarks

The Form.FormClosing event occurs just before a form is closed, either by the user, through the user interface (UI), or programmatically, through calls to methods such as Form.Close in the System.Windows.Forms.Form class, or Application.Exit in the System.Windows.Forms.Application class. This event can be canceled.

When you create a System.Windows.Forms.FormClosingEventHandler delegate, you identify the method that will handle the event. To associate the event with your event handler, add an instance of the delegate to the event. The event handler is called whenever the event occurs, unless you remove the delegate. For more information about event-handler delegates, see Events and Delegates.
