System.Windows.Forms.Splitter.OnSplitterMoving Method

Raises the Splitter.SplitterMoving event. Splitter.OnSplitterMoving(SplitterEventArgs) has been replaced by SplitContainer.OnSplitterMoving(SplitterCancelEventArgs) and is provided only for compatibility with previous versions.

Syntax

protected virtual void OnSplitterMoving (SplitterEventArgs sevent)

Parameters

sevent
A System.Windows.Forms.SplitterEventArgs that contains the event data.

Remarks

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.

The Splitter.OnSplitterMoving(SplitterEventArgs) method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
