The DetailsView.OnItemDeleted(DetailsViewDeletedEventArgs) method is called by the System.Web.UI.WebControls.DetailsView control to raise the DetailsView.ItemDeleted event. It is generally used by control developers when extending the System.Web.UI.WebControls.DetailsView class.

The DetailsView.OnItemDeleted(DetailsViewDeletedEventArgs) method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
