System.Web.UI.WebControls.DetailsView.OnPageIndexChanged Method

Raises the DetailsView.PageIndexChanged event.

Syntax

protected virtual void OnPageIndexChanged (EventArgs e)

Parameters

e
An EventArgs that contains the event data.

Remarks

The DetailsView.OnPageIndexChanged(EventArgs) method is called by the System.Web.UI.WebControls.DetailsView control to raise the DetailsView.PageIndexChanged event. It is generally used by control developers when extending the System.Web.UI.WebControls.DetailsView class.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.

The DetailsView.OnPageIndexChanged(EventArgs) method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
