See ContentProvider.OpenAssetFile(Android.Net.Uri, System.String). Note that this does not take care of non-content: URIs such as file:. It is strongly recommended you use the ContentResolver.OpenAssetFileDescriptor(Android.Net.Uri, System.String) API instead.
