The System.Web.UI.WebControls.ChangePassword control requires the user to enter the new password twice because the password characters are masked on the screen as the user types them. If the user does not enter the same password in both the New Password text box and the Confirm New Password text box, the message in the ChangePassword.ConfirmPasswordCompareErrorMessage property is displayed.
