Re: font fuzziness with Bitstream Vera



To try to add to the explanation, Xft does additional adjustment of the
outlines to "snap" them on pixel boundaries, reducing fuzz from
antialiasing.

Essentially, the only "fuzzy" pixels on Linux will be pixels that would
have been "jaggies" in older technology.
