BluetoothManager.enabled

Non-standard
This feature is not on a current W3C standards track, but it is supported on the Firefox OS platform. Although implementations may change in the future and it is not supported widely across browsers, it is suitable for use in code dedicated to Firefox OS apps.

This API is available on Firefox OS for internal applications only.

Summary

The enabled property value indicates whether the Bluetooth is turned on (true) or off (false).

Note: Enabling or disabling Bluetooth can only been done by using the Settings API to change the bluetooth.enabled setting. Each time this setting changes, the BluetoothManager object will send an enabled or disabled event. Those events can be handled by using the BluetoothManager.onenabled and BluetoothManager.ondisabled event handlers.

Syntax

var enabled = navigator.mozBluetooth.enabled

Value

Return a boolean.

Specification

Not part of any specification yet. It should be discuss as part of the W3C's System Applications Working Group.
