System.Web.UI.WebControls.DetailsView.OnItemUpdated Method

Raises the DetailsView.ItemUpdated event.

A System.Web.UI.WebControls.DetailsViewUpdatedEventArgs that contains the event data.

Remarks

The DetailsView.OnItemUpdated(DetailsViewUpdatedEventArgs) method is called by the System.Web.UI.WebControls.DetailsView control to raise the DetailsView.ItemUpdated event. It is generally used by control developers when extending the System.Web.UI.WebControls.DetailsView class.

The DetailsView.OnItemUpdated(DetailsViewUpdatedEventArgs) method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
