Remarks

The System.Web.UI.WebControls.MenuEventHandler class is used to represent the method that handles the events in the following table.

Menu.MenuItemClick

Occurs when a menu item is clicked. This event is commonly used to synchronize a System.Web.UI.WebControls.Menu control with another control on the page.

Menu.MenuItemDataBound

Occurs when a menu item is bound to data. This event is commonly used to modify a menu item before it is rendered in a System.Web.UI.WebControls.Menu control.

When you create a System.Web.UI.WebControls.MenuEventHandler delegate, you identify the method that will handle the event. To associate the event with your event handler, add an instance of the delegate to the event. The event handler is called whenever the event occurs, unless you remove the delegate. For more information about event-handler delegates, see Events and Delegates.
