Jim Lyles says this is pretty much true: you could take the current characters
and do the obvious things to add the accents, etc., and you'd be done.

You need to do it in such a way to preserve the character's hinting, etc.

I expect there are other places to get actual help on how to do this properly.

So it is eminently doable...  Have fun!  Let us know when you have some
work to look at.
