The uniform distribution Random Number Generator (RNG).
This class supports the creation of objects that return random numbers from a fixed uniform distribution. It also supports the generation of single random numbers from various uniform distributions.
The output range is for floating point values, (
max
excluded), and (
max
included) for integral values.
Here is an example of how to use this class:
Normally this RNG returns values in the interval
. If an instance of this RNG is configured to return antithetic values, the actual value returned is calculated as follows:
